How to Make Classic Libby's® Pumpkin Pie (9 Steps)

  • 1 1/2 c. (12 fl.oz can) evaporated milk
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 2 large eggs
  • deep-dish pie shell
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. Combine sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves in a small bowl.

  3. Beat eggs lightly in a large bowl.

  4. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture.

  5. Gradually stir in evaporated milk and pour mixture into a pie shell.

  6. Bake for 15 minutes.

  7. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F; bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.

  8. Cool on a wire rack for 2 hours.

  9. Serve immediately, or refrigerate.
