How to Make Key Lime Pie (10 Steps)

Regular limes can be substituted for Key limes for a variation on this treat. This no-bake recipe uses a graham cracker crust, which is as tasty as it is easy. Makes one 9-inch pie.

  • Splash Of Cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Mix together graham cracker crumbs and butter in a bowl.

  3. Use fingers to press crumbs over bottom and sides of 9-inch pie pan. Try to distribute crumbs evenly.

  4. Bake for 8 minutes.

  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

  6. Combine egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well.

  7. Add lime rind and lime juice, a little at a time.

  8. Pour into graham cracker crust.

  9. Refrigerate for about 4 hours or until filling has set.

  10. Whip the cream, and spoon it on top of pie.
