What is the stuffing in stuffed pork chops?
Ingredients
- 2 cups of dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup of finely chopped celery
- 1/4 cup of finely chopped carrot
- 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons of chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs, onion, celery, carrot, parsley, chicken broth, cooking oil, salt, and pepper.
2. Mix well until all of the ingredients are evenly combined.
3. Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning as desired.
You can customize your pork chop stuffing by adding other ingredients, such as:
- Herbs, such as oregano, thyme, or rosemary
- Spices, such as paprika or chili powder
- Nuts, such as almonds or walnuts
- Cheese, such as cheddar or Parmesan
- Cooked meat, such as bacon or ham
Once your stuffing is made, you can stuff your pork chops.
1. Cut a pocket into each pork chop.
2. Fill the pocket with the stuffing.
3. Close the pork chop and secure it with a toothpick.
4. Cook the pork chops according to your preferred method.
NOTE: If you want extra gravy, brown the stuffed pork chops in the cooking oil before adding the chicken broth.
