Can you cook pork chops in a steam bag?
It is not recommended to cook pork in a steam bag.
Pork chops should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit, the recommended safe temperature set by the USDA. Most steam bags are unable to reach this temperature, so there is a chance that the pork may be undercooked and harmful bacteria could grow.
To ensure food safety, it's best to grill, roast, pan fry, or braise pork chops to reach the proper temperature.
