What do you put in spaghetti bolognase?

Ingredients for Spaghetti Bolognese:

For the Bolognese sauce:

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 1/2 cup chopped onion

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 pound ground beef or pork

- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes

- 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce

- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

- Salt and pepper to taste

For the spaghetti:

- 1 pound spaghetti noodles

- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

1. Make the Bolognese Sauce:

- Heat the olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.

- Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more, or until fragrant.

- Add the ground beef or pork and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon as it cooks.

- Drain any excess fat.

- Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.

- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

2. Cook the Spaghetti:

- While the sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti noodles according to the package instructions.

- Drain the noodles and reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water.

3. Assemble the Dish:

- Add the cooked spaghetti noodles to the pot of Bolognese sauce and stir to combine.

- Add some of the reserved cooking water if needed to thin the sauce.

- Simmer for a few minutes more, or until the spaghetti is heated through.

- Serve the spaghetti Bolognese immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
