Peace Bread Land is a Christian pacifist community located in the Catskill Mountains of New York State. The community was founded in 1936 by a group of conscientious objectors to World War II. The mission of Peace Bread Land is to promote peace and nonviolence through education, service, and prayer. The community is home to a variety of ministries, including a farm, a school, a retreat center, and a peace museum. Peace Bread Land is also a member of the National Farm Sanctuary Network.
