What is mushy raw turkey?
There is no such thing as "mushy raw turkey".
Here's why:
* Raw turkey is firm and solid. It should never be mushy.
* Mushy texture in meat is a sign of spoilage. If your turkey is mushy, it means it's gone bad and should not be eaten.
Possible Misunderstandings
Perhaps you're thinking of:
* Ground turkey: This can sometimes be "mushy" due to the texture of the ground meat, but it's still normal.
* Turkey that's been thawed improperly: If turkey is thawed too quickly or at room temperature, it can become mushy and unsafe to eat.
Important Safety Note: Never eat raw turkey. Always cook it thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) to kill harmful bacteria.
