What is pork rines made out of?

Pork rinds are made from the skin and fat of a pig. Here's the process:

1. The skin and fat are removed from the pig.

2. The fat is rendered, meaning it's melted down and the impurities removed.

3. The skin is boiled until it's soft and pliable.

4. The skin is then dried and often fried in the rendered fat.

This process creates the crispy, crunchy texture that is characteristic of pork rinds.
