Can the hamster food get stuck in pouch?

Hamsters have cheek pouches, which are expandable sacs located on either side of their mouths. Hamsters use these pouches to store food, bedding, and other materials. While it is possible for hamster food to get stuck in a hamster's pouch, it is not a common occurrence. Hamsters are usually able to dislodge any food that becomes stuck in their pouches. However, if you are concerned that your hamster may have food stuck in its pouch, you can gently try to remove it with your fingers or a soft cloth. If you are unable to remove the food, you should take your hamster to a veterinarian.
