Cooking Chicken Breasts on an Electric Griddle

1. Preheat the electric griddle to medium-high heat. While it heats, wash the chicken breasts, trim off excess fat, and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper if desired.

2. Brush the chicken breast with olive oil. Add chicken to the hot electric griddle.

3. Cook the chicken for approximately 5 minutes on one side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

4. Flip the chicken breasts over and cook for an additional 4 minutes or until the other side is also browned and internal temperature has reached 165°F.

5. Remove chicken breast from the griddle, let it rest for a couple minutes, and serve immediately.
