How to Warm Up Baked Chicken (4 Steps)
Warming up leftover baked chicken makes a quick and satisfying entree that will taste as good the second time as it did the first. The key to successful reheating is to heat the chicken quickly without baking it again. Because you have already baked the chicken once, you need only to reheat it.
Things You'll Need
- Baked chicken leftovers
- Covered casserole dish
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
-
Place the leftover chicken into the casserole dish and add a small amount of water around the bottom of the chicken pieces. Cover the casserole dish.
-
Place the covered casserole dish into the oven and leave the chicken in the oven only until it is hot. This should not take more than ten minutes.
-
Remove the chicken promptly when it is warm enough. Serve the chicken immediately.
