Drinks With Vodka & Peach Schnapps
From time to time you might find that you have a limited selection of alcohol on hand for drink making. For example, let's say you find that you have a bottle of vodka and a bottle of peach schnapps. Well, conveniently there are several drinks you can make with these ingredients.
Sex on the Beach
-
This modern favorite is made in a tall highball glass filled halfway with ice. Pour 1 1/2 oz of vodka and 1 oz. of peach schnapps into the glass. Then pour in 2 oz. of both cranberry juice and orange juice. Stir the drink for less than half a minute and it will be ready to serve.
Fuzzy Navel
-
For this humorously named drink, place 1 oz. of peach schnapps and half a shot of vodka in a cocktail glass. Then fill the glass almost to the top with orange juice. Stir the drink in the glass before drinking.
Long Island Fruit Punch
-
This heavily alcoholic drink is a vodka-based variant on the Long Island Iced Tea. In a beer glass with ice pour 1/2 oz. each of cranberry vodka, orange vodka and raspberry vodka. Then pour a 1/4 oz. each of sloe gin and peach schnapps. Finally add a splash each of cranberry and pineapple juice. Place your hand on top of the mug and give it a quick shake. Your drink will now be ready to serve.
