How do you make bugers?

Here’s a basic recipe to help you get started.

Ingredients:

- 1 pound ground beef, turkey or chicken

- 1/2 cup of dried bread crumbs

- ½ finely diced onion

- 2-4 crushed cloves of garlic

- ½ teaspoon salt

- freshly ground black pepper to taste

- 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley leaves

- 2 tablespoons ketchup or Worcestershire sauce

- Olive oil, for cooking

- 4 burger buns

- Toppings of your choice, such as lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, onion rings, etc.

Instructions:

1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Add a tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet.

2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground meat, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, and ketchup or Worcestershire sauce. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and have formed a sticky consistency.

3. Scoop the mixture into four equal-sized portions. Use your hands to shape each portion into a round patty about 3 inches in diameter and ½ inch thick. Make a thumbprint indentation in the center of each patty to help it hold its shape while cooking.

4. Heat the skillet over medium heat. Brush the skillet with a little more olive oil. Place the patties in the skillet, leaving some space between them.

5. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned on both sides and cooked thoroughly in the center. Adjust cooking time based on your desired level of doneness.

6. Toast the burger buns in a toaster or by placing them face up on a baking sheet and broiling for a few minutes, until lightly browned.

7. Assemble the burgers by placing a cooked patty on each bun bottom. Add your desired toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, onion rings, ketchup, and mayonnaise.

8. Serve and enjoy!
