How to Make Snickerdoodles With Sugar Cookie Mix

A snickerdoodle may sound like a funny name for a cookie, but it is great at satisfying the biggest sweet tooth. Snickerdoodles are basically sugar cookies that are coated with some cinnamon and, you guessed it, more sugar. You can make your basic sugar cookie and add the toppings, but it speeds up a lot of time if you buy a pouch of sugar cookie mix and start with that.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 package of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix 1 egg 1/3 cup of softened butter 1 tsp of cinnamon 1/4 cup of sugar Baking sheet Mixing bowl

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Crack your egg in to your mixing bowl and make sure there are no shells in it.

  3. Cut open your Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix and pour into the mixing bowl.

  4. Add the butter to the mixing bowl and combine all three ingredients until there are no lumps.

  5. Drop one spoonful of sugar cookie mix every inch on to a cookie sheet.

  6. Press the sugar cookie mix down so that it has a little bit of a flat top.

  7. Mix the cinnamon and sugar together in a cup and sprinkle all over the cookies.

  8. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
