Can you use yellow cake and pound together?

Yellow cake mix and pound cake mix can be used together to create a new and unique cake. Some recipes can be found on the Internet; most will suggest that you make the pound cake mix as directed, then add in all of the ingredients from the yellow cake mix except the water and oil. If a recipe calls for eggs, use three eggs instead of four if mixing the two cake mixes.
