How do you make biscuit?

Here is one simple recipe to make biscuits:

Ingredients:

- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

- 1 tablespoon (15g) baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon (3g) salt

- 1/2 teaspoon (3g) sugar

- 1/3 cup (80ml) milk

- 1/3 cup (80ml) melted butter

Instructions:

- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

- In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

- Mix wet and dry ingredients: Pour in the milk and melted butter and mix until the ingredients form a soft, cohesive dough.

- Knead the dough gently on a lightly floured surface for a few times, just to bring it together.

- Roll out the dough: Use a rolling pin to roll the dough out to about ½ inch (1.3 cm) thickness.

- Cut out the biscuits: Use a biscuit cutter or a floured glass to cut out round biscuits from the dough.

- Place the cut-out biscuits on the parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving a little space between them for them to rise and expand.

- Bake the biscuits for about 10-12 minutes, until they are golden brown and risen.

- Once baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
