Does potato and biuret turns violet?

Potato and biuret do not turn violet. Biuret is a chemical compound that is used as a reagent to test for the presence of proteins. When biuret is added to a solution containing proteins, it forms a complex with the peptide bonds in the proteins, resulting in a violet or purple color. Potato, on the other hand, is a starchy vegetable that does not contain significant amounts of proteins. Therefore, adding biuret to potato will not result in a violet or purple color.
