Do kiwis grow from the ground?

Kiwis do not grow from the ground, they grow on vines that can reach up to 30 meters in length. The vines are climbed by the fruits, which are actually berries with hairy skin. Kiwis are native to China, but are now grown in many parts of the world, including New Zealand, Chile, Italy, and the United States.
