How do you escape a Chinese finger trap?
There are 2 main techniques to escape a Chinese finger trap.
Technique 1: Relaxation and Wiggle
1. Relax your grip. The key to escaping a Chinese finger trap is to relax your grip. When you grip the trap tightly, it becomes more difficult to escape.
2. Wiggle your fingers. Once you have relaxed your grip, start to wiggle your fingers. This will help to loosen the trap and create space between your fingers and the trap.
3. Gradually pull your fingers out. As you wiggle your fingers, gradually pull them out of the trap. Be patient and don't try to pull your fingers out too quickly. If you pull too quickly, you will only tighten the trap.
Technique 2: Crossover and Pull
1. Relax one hand. Let your hand relax and open slightly, without letting go.
2. Cross your fingers. Cross the fingers of the trapped hand over the fingers of the free hand, so that the pointer finger is on top of the thumb.
3. Pull your hands apart. Gently pull your hands apart. This will cause the trap to loosen, allowing you to escape.
