How do you cook beef liver?
To cook beef liver, follow these steps:
Ingredients:
- Beef liver, sliced into 1/4-inch thick pieces
- Olive oil or cooking oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup of flour
- 1 tablespoon of butter
Instructions:
1. Rinse the beef liver slices under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
2. Season the liver slices with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Dredge the liver slices in flour to coat them evenly.
4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
5. Once the oil is shimmering, carefully place the liver slices in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
6. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the liver is browned and cooked through. (Do not overcook, as the liver will become tough.)
7. Remove the liver slices from the skillet and set aside.
8. In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt over medium heat.
9. Add the cooked liver slices back to the skillet and stir to coat them in the butter.
10. Serve the beef liver hot with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
Enjoy your delicious and nutritious beef liver!
