How to Cook Chicken Pieces in an Electric Roaster Oven
Using a roaster oven to cook chicken is an easy way to get dinner on the table and keep cleanup to a minimum. A roaster oven can be used in many different ways, from roasting (the obvious one!), to slow-cooking, to steaming, and poaching. Chicken pieces are one of the easiest meats to master when cooked in the roaster, and these chicken pieces are just the ticket for a tasty dinner.
Things You'll Need
- Roaster oven
- 3 lbs chicken pieces
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Montreal Chicken Seasoning
- 1 gallon Ziploc bag
Roasted Montreal Chicken

Preheat the roaster for 20 minutes to 425 degrees F.

Place chicken, olive oil, and seasoning in Ziploc bag and seal. Shake to coat chicken with ingredients.

Lightly spray inside of roaster oven with cooking spray. Remove chicken pieces from Ziploc bag and arrange them in preheated roaster.

Reduce temperature to 375 degrees F. Roast 25 to 45 minutes.

Remove chicken pieces to serving platter. Serves four to six.
