How to Cook Pinoy Chicken Macaroni Salad
Pinoy is a term often used to refer to individuals from the Philippines. One exciting thing about chicken is that it can be cooked in hundreds of different ways. If you are looking for a new chicken recipe to prepare, you can use a recipe that comes from another country to experience a whole new flavor. Pinoy chicken macaroni salad will give you a taste of cooking from the Philippines.
Things You'll Need
- 1 boneless chicken breast cooked
- 4 oz. macaroni noodles
- 2 cups mayo
- 1 cup crushed pineapples
- 1/2 cup sweet relish
- 1 cup cheddar cheese cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1 hard boiled egg
- Dash of salt
- Dash of pepper
- Dash of sugar
- Large bowl
Instructions

Set the macaroni noodles in a pot of boiling water and cook until they are soft. This should take about 12 minutes. Then drain out the water. Pour your macaroni noodles into a large bowl.

Cut your chicken into small pieces and add them to your bowl of macaroni.

Drain your can of crushed pineapples. Pour the pineapples into your large bowl.

Add the mayo, sweet relish, cheddar cheese cubes, shredded carrots, and diced onions to the large bowl. Cut your hard boiled egg into bite-sized pieces and add these pieces to the large bowl.

Dash the salt, pepper, and sugar on top of the ingredients in your large bowl. Mix them all together. Serve in individual bowls.
