Why can you eat raw beef but not chicken?
This is not accurate, you should not consume either raw beef or chicken.
Both may contain harmful bacteria such as Salmonella or E.coli that can cause food poisoning. Cooking them thoroughly kills these bacteria and makes them safe to eat.
