How do you get that steakhouse baste flavor when chargrilling steaks?
Ingredients
* 1 tablespoon of olive oil
* 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
* 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
* 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
* 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
* 1 teaspoon of onion powder
* ½ teaspoon of salt
* ½ teaspoon of black pepper
Directions
1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients until combined.
2. Place the steaks in a zip lock bag and pour the marinade over them.
3. Let the steaks marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, but preferably 4-6 hours.
4. When ready to grill, heat your grill to high heat.
5. Remove the steaks from the bag and discard the marinade.
6. Grill the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
7. Baste the steaks with the marinade every 2 minutes or so to help them stay moist and flavorful.
8. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
