Can raw meat be left out overnight if wrapped?
No.
According to the USDA, perishable foods, including raw meat, should not be left out at room temperature for more than two hours (*one if above 90°F*). This is because bacteria can multiply rapidly at room temperature, and can cause food to become unsafe to eat.
Wrap raw meat in airtight wrapping. If left for longer than two hours, always refrigerate.
