How do you grill Pittsburgh hot links?
To grill Pittsburgh hot links:
1. Preheat your grill to medium heat. If using charcoal, let the coals heat up for 20-30 minutes before grilling.
2. Oil the grill grate. This will help prevent the hot links from sticking.
3. Place the hot links on the grill grate. Do not crowd the hot links; they should be spaced about 1 inch apart.
4. Grill the hot links for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through. The hot links are cooked when they are firm to the touch and no longer pink in the center.
5. Serve the hot links immediately with your favorite toppings. Such as sauerkraut, onions, and mustard.
Tips for grilling Pittsburgh hot links:
* To prevent the hot links from drying out, baste them with water or beer every few minutes.
* If you want to add a little extra flavor, marinate the hot links in your favorite sauce or marinade before grilling.
* Pittsburgh hot links are best served fresh off the grill, but they can also be refrigerated or frozen for later. To reheat, simply place the hot links on a baking sheet in a preheated oven until heated through.
