How do you know when cranberry beans are ready to pick?

Cranberries, not cranberry beans, are ready to pick when they turn a deep red color and easily pop off the vine. When the majority of the berries in a cluster have turned red and are easily dislodged by lightly shaking the vine, it is time to harvest.
