How long will chicken stew last in the refrigerator?
Properly stored, cooked chicken stew will last for 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator. To further extend the shelf life of cooked chicken stew, freeze it; frozen cooked chicken stew will keep safe indefinitely, although it is recommended to consume within 2 to 3 months for best flavor.
When ready to eat, thaw the frozen chicken stew overnight in the refrigerator, or quickly in the microwave. Reheat the thawed chicken stew over medium-low heat until heated through. Do not refreeze the thawed chicken stew.
