How do chickens get to slaughter houses?

Chickens are usually transported to slaughterhouses in large trucks or cages. The trucks are often overcrowded and lack proper ventilation, which can cause the chickens to suffer from heat stress, dehydration, and other health problems. The chickens may also be injured or killed during transport.

Once the chickens arrive at the slaughterhouse, they are usually hung upside down by their feet on a conveyor belt. They are then killed by having their throats cut or by being stunned with an electric shock. The chickens are then bled and defeathered.

The chickens are then eviscerated, which means that their internal organs are removed. The organs are usually discarded, although some of them may be used for pet food or other purposes.

The chickens are then washed and chilled. They are then packaged and stored for sale.
