How to Make Rice Krispy Easter Eggs (3 Steps)
Easter is a very special holiday and most people spend it with their families. Traditionally people buy eggs and dye them for Easter. As an alternative to dying eggs, try using Kellogg's Rice Krispies Cereal to make Krispy Easter eggs. It's quick, easy and the children will have lots of fun helping you make them. Here are the steps needed to make Krispy Easter eggs.
Things You'll Need
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 bag of marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
Instructions
-
Put 1 stick of butter, 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter and 1 bag of marshmallows in a microwavable bowl. Microwave on high for 3-5 minutes until the butter is melted.
-
Add 6 cups of any brand of crispy rice cereal and 1/2 cup candy sprinkles. Stir until coated. Let it sit for five minutes until cool.
-
Form into egg-shaped balls and put in pastel baking cups. Store in an airtight container. Be creative. You may want to add chocolate chips or coconut; experiment to make the recipe your own.
