Is iodized salt used in frozen vegetables?

It is not typically recommended to use iodized salt in frozen vegetables. Iodized salt contains added iodine, which can help prevent iodine deficiency. However, when added to frozen vegetables, iodine can cause the vegetables to discolor and lose some of their nutrients, such as vitamin C. Unprocessed iodized salt is not included in the ingredients found on frozen vegetable packaging.
