How do you dissolve tootsie roll from hair?
To remove a Tootsie Roll from hair, you will need:
- A blow dryer
- A comb
- A pair of scissors
- Vegetable or mineral oil
- Dish soap
- Water
- A towel
- A bowl
1. Heat the Tootsie Roll with a Blow Dryer: Blow hot air from a blow dryer on the Tootsie Roll for a few minutes. The heat will help soften the candy.
2. Comb Out the Tootsie Roll: Use a comb to gently remove as much of the Tootsie Roll as you can. Be careful not to pull too hard, as you may damage your hair.
3. Trim Away Remaining Candy: If there is still Tootsie Roll stuck in your hair, use a pair of scissors to carefully trim it away. Be sure to cut close to the scalp to avoid leaving any candy behind.
4. Apply Vegetable Oil: Apply a generous amount of vegetable oil or mineral oil to the affected area. The oil will help break down the Tootsie Roll.
5. Lather with Dish Soap: Add a small amount of dish soap to your hands and water and work it into a lather. Apply the lather to the affected area and massage gently.
6. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water to remove all of the oil and soap.
7. Repeat Steps 4-6 if Necessary: If there is still Tootsie Roll in your hair, repeat steps 4-6 as necessary.
8. Dry Your Hair: Towel dry your hair and let it air dry completely.
Note: If your hair becomes damaged from the Tootsie Roll, you may need to have it treated by a professional stylist.
