How to Make a Chocolate Cake in a Mug (4 Steps)
Every chocolate lover has that time when one piece of cake will do, but there's no time to make the whole thing. The chocolate cake in a mug could be the answer. It should produce a dessert that tastes like chocolate cake, only it is made in a microwave and fits in a cup.
Things You'll Need
- 4 tbsp. flour
- 4 tbsp.sugar
- 2 tbsp.cocoa
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp. milk
- 3 tbsp. oil
- Splash vanilla extract
- 1 large microwave safe mug
Instructions

Combine the dry ingredients in the mug. Add the egg and mix everything thoroughly.

Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract and mix the dough a second time.

Put the mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high.

The cake will rise over the top of the mug. Let it cool for a few minutes, then tip it onto a plate or bowl.
