How do you use baking soda to get iron build up out of your hair?
Instructions for Making a Baking Soda and Water Hair Rinse:
1. Shampoo and condition as usual.
2. Rinse your hair with warm water.
3. Using your fingers, apply 1 tablespoon of baking soda to your wet hair. For longer hair, use 2-3 tablespoons.
4. Massage your scalp with your fingers for 5 minutes.
5. Rinse your hair with warm water until all of the baking soda has been washed away.
6. Condition your hair again.
7. Rinse your hair with cool water.
Additional Tips:
- Be sure to rinse your hair thoroughly after using baking soda, as it can leave behind a white residue if it is not rinsed out properly.
- To make the paste, mix 2 parts baking soda with 1 part water.
- To combat greasy hair, add a few drops of tea tree oil or peppermint essential oil to the paste.
- If you have dry hair, add a few drops of coconut oil or jojoba oil to the paste.
- You can use this hair rinse once or twice a week, as needed.
