How can you tell a breakfast egg and chick apart?
This is a bit of a trick question! You can't tell a breakfast egg and a chick apart because they are completely different things.
* A breakfast egg is the unfertilized egg of a hen, usually laid within the past few days. It is eaten as food.
* A chick is a baby chicken that has hatched from a fertilized egg.
If you see a tiny chicken, it's a chick! If you see a shell with yolk and white inside, it's an egg for breakfast!
