Where do helmeted guinea fowl lay their eggs?

Helmeted Guinea Fowl lay their eggs in a shallow scrape on the ground. The nest is usually lined with grass and leaves, and is hidden away in a secluded spot such as a bush or under a tree. The female will typically lay between 10 and 20 eggs, and will incubate them for about 26 days. The chicks are precocial, meaning that they are able to walk and feed themselves shortly after hatching. The male will help to protect the chicks, and will teach them how to find food and water.
