Who came first man or egg?

The egg came first.

The chicken is not the only animal that reproduces by laying eggs. In fact, eggs are the primary method of reproduction for most animals on Earth, including all birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. Even some mammals lay eggs, such as the platypus and the echidna.

The first eggs evolved long before the first chickens. In fact, the earliest known eggs date back to around 300 million years ago, when they were laid by fish-like creatures called ostracoderms. Ostracoderms were the ancestors of all vertebrates, which include fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals.

Over time, eggs evolved into the complex structures we see today. They became harder-shelled and more resistant to damage, and they developed a variety of adaptations that help them to survive in different environments.

Chickens evolved much later, around 60 million years ago. They descended from a group of dinosaurs called the theropods, which included some of the largest and most powerful animals that have ever lived. Over time, the theropods evolved into smaller and more bird-like creatures, and eventually, they gave rise to chickens.

So, the egg came first. It evolved long before the chicken, and it is the primary method of reproduction for most animals on Earth.
