What is Quiznos creamy bacon alfredo sauce recipe?
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup bacon bits
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add the flour and whisk until a roux has formed.
2. Continue whisking for about 1 minute until the roux is smooth and golden brown.
3. Slowly whisk in heavy cream and cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, bacon bits, salt and pepper to taste.
5. Serve immediately over pasta.
