How do you make Au Gratin potatoes?
Ingredients:
* 2 pounds potatoes (such as Russet or Yukon Gold), scrubbed and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1 cup milk
* 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 1/2 cup grated Gruyère cheese
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 teaspoon dried thyme
* Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with the heavy cream, milk, Parmesan cheese, Gruyère cheese, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
3. Pour the potato mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the sauce is bubbly.
5. Serve immediately.
