Where does Texas toast originate from?
The name "Texas toast" is said to have originated in the 1940s, when a Dallas restaurateur named Richard "Rich" Handley, who owned the Town and Country Restaurant in Dallas, claimed to have invented it, serving it to his customers to rave reviews.
