How did the eora people get food?
Fishing: Fish were caught from the ocean and harbours, and along rivers and creeks, using fishing nets, spears and lines.
Hunting: Animals were hunted in the bush and forests, using spears and boomerangs. Fish, crabs and shells were caught in the rock platform around Sydney Harbour.
Gathering: The Eora people gathered many different foods from the bush, including fruits, roots, nuts, seeds and berries.
