What weight was the worlds heaviest sandwich?

The world’s heaviest sandwich weighed in at 5,440 pounds (2,468 kg) and was created by John Unrein, a professional sandwich artist from Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The sandwich was made with more than 100 pounds of salami, 150 pounds of ham, 200 pounds of turkey, 25 pounds of lettuce, 25 pounds of tomatoes, 10 pounds of onions, and 50 pounds of cheese. The sandwich was constructed on a 20-foot-long bun and required a forklift to move it. The sandwich was eaten by over 1,000 people at the Pennsylvania Farm Show in January 2012.
