Is red vermouth wine the same as ruby port wine?

Red vermouth wine and ruby port wine are not the same. Red vermouth wine is a fortified, aromatized wine made with white wine, herbs, spices, and other flavorings. Ruby port wine is a red, sweet wine made from red grapes grown in the Douro Valley of Portugal.
