What is sherry copita?
Sherry copita is a stemmed glass traditionally designed to drink sherry (a fortified wine). It is small, narrow at the base, and widens slightly towards the rim. The typical capacity of a sherry copita is between 1 and 2 fluid ounces (approximately 30 to 60 millilitres). The narrow base of the glass helps to concentrate the aromas of the wine, while the wider rim allows for easy sipping. Sherry copitas are often used for serving a single measure ("una copa") of sherry.
