Is there a recipe like bayou bourbon glaze from tastefully simple?
Ingredients:
* 1 cup bourbon whiskey
* 1 cup brown sugar
* 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
* 1/4 cup honey
* 1 tablespoon minced garlic
* 1 tablespoon minced onion
* 1 teaspoon dried thyme
* 1 teaspoon dried oregano
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the bourbon, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic, onion, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the glaze has thickened.
4. Remove the glaze from the heat and let it cool completely.
5. The glaze can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
To use the glaze, simply brush it onto your favorite meats, poultry, or fish before cooking. The glaze can also be used as a dipping sauce.
