Do you peel the garlic before roasting it whole in oven?

Ingredients:
- Garlic bulbs (with skin on)
- Olive oil
- Salt (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Trim the root end of the garlic bulbs just enough to expose the cloves slightly.
3. Drizzle a little olive oil on a baking dish or sheet pan. Place the garlic bulbs on the baking dish, cut side up.
4. Drizzle a little more olive oil over the garlic bulbs.
5. Sprinkle with a bit of salt, if desired (this step is optional).
6. Roast the garlic in the preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes, or until the cloves are soft and golden brown.
7. Remove the baking dish or sheet pan from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
8. Once cooled, use a fork or your fingers to gently squeeze out the roasted garlic cloves from their skins. The skin should come off easily.
9. Use the roasted garlic in your desired recipe or spread it on bread, crackers, or toast for a delicious and flavorful topping.
