Is there a turkey equivalant of pink slime in ground turkey?

Pink slime is an industry term for finely textured lean beef (FBLB), a product made from beef trimmings that had previously been considered unusable. It was developed in the 1970s by two Kansas State University food scientists with the intention of reducing waste in slaughterhouses by separating lean meat from fat and gristle that could then be used in ground beef.

This process has not been applied to meat other than beef. Therefore, you would not find an equivalent form of "pink slime" in any non-beef products, including ground turkey.
