How long can ground turkey be used past experation date refrigerated?
Ground Turkey should not be used past the expiration date. Even when refrigerated, ground turkey can spoil and become unsafe to eat after the date on the package. Eating spoiled ground turkey can cause foodborne illness, such as E. coli or salmonella, which can lead to serious health problems. Always check the expiration date on ground turkey before consuming it and discard any that has passed the date.
