How long does lobster stay fresh in the refrigerator before cooking?
Live Lobster: 1-2 days. You can usually leave uncooked live lobsters in the fridge from 1 to 2 days. But, the sooner they are cooked, the better.
Cooked Lobster Meat: 3-4 days. Cooked but unshucked lobster meat that is left whole can usually last in the fridge from 3 to 4 days.
Cooked Lobster Meat (Unshelled): 5-7 days. Cooked lobster meat (unshelled) can be left in the fridge from 5 to 7 days. If you’d like to keep it for longer, consider freezing the meat and it can last for up to 2 months.
