What makes pork unclean to muslims?

There are a few reasons why pork is considered unclean to Muslims.

* The Quran explicitly forbids the consumption of pork. The relevant passage is found in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 173: "He has only forbidden you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which is slaughtered in the name of other than God."

* Pork is seen as a dirty and impure animal. This is because pigs are known to eat anything, including garbage and feces. They also live in filthy conditions, which can make their meat contaminated with bacteria.

* Pork is believed to be harmful to health. Some studies have shown that eating pork can increase the risk of certain health problems, such as heart disease, cancer, and trichinosis.

For all of these reasons, pork is considered unclean to Muslims and is forbidden to be eaten.
